Sofia and Ann

Sofia Pernas, a Moroccan born in California who grew up living in Orange County, moved there when she was five years old. She graduated of the University of California, San Diego in the year 2015, which was the year in which she received her biggest break in acting. Pernas had a few guest appearances on NCIS and Leverage and then landed the part of Marisa in The Young and the Restless. The actress who quit the soap in 2016, was cast in the role as Catalina as a regular in Jane the Virgin. The model who is fluent in four languages has since appeared in The Brave as Hannah Rivera, The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Pernas was the character Lexi Vaziri on Blood & Treasure between 2019 and 2020. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas was dating Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. The star of This is Us Pernas began dating Justin Hartley in the wake of her breakup with Chrishell Stause, who was her wedding ring from November of 2019. News surfaced in the month of May of 2021 about how Pernas and Hartley had recently tied the knot with a private ceremony.
